Am Mühlbach.

We are campers ourselves and know what matters on the road: honesty, cleanliness, peace and quiet, and a little feeling of home. In the morning the rooster crows, at night the sky is full of stars – and there’s a chat over the garden fence if you like.

  • quiet, in the village centre
  • minutes from the A3/A7
  • organic (Demeter) farm shop next door
  • Franconian inn in the village

“Even with the already very good photos, our expectations were exceeded on site. The host was always easy to reach when needed and respected our privacy at the same time.”

What began in 2020 as a building diary.

Step by step we have brought the 18th-century barn, stables and sandstone house back to life – with natural materials, careful craftsmanship and a lot of love for the old building.

  1. 2020

    The farmstead becomes ours

We buy the old farmstead in Repperndorf and start a building diary on Instagram.

  2. 2021–2022

    The sandstone house

We renovate the sandstone house and create two rental flats in it.

  3. 2022–2023

    Barn & stable

The old barn and stable become a family home with a separate flat.

  4. 2024–2025

    The little stable

The old little stable becomes the holiday apartment – hence its name, „Kleiner Stall“.

  5. Today

    Life on the farmstead

Holiday apartment, pitches by the Mühlbach, play barn – and we live right in the middle of it.

Play barn with climbing arch, swing, ball pit and play tent under the old roof beams
The play barn: swing, climbing arch, ball pit and play tent under the old roof beams.

Built with clay & wood

Clay, hemp lime and wood instead of concrete. Heating comes from wood chips and wall heating, and the apartment’s kitchen was built from an old workbench.

Play barn

Swing, climbing arch, ball pit and play tent, plus a workshop with children’s tools, a craft table and real canvases – for rainy days without screens.

A village with heart

Organic (Demeter) farm shop and a Franconian inn right next door; Kitzingen and the river Main are just minutes away.

Slow tourism

Quality over quantity: we believe in mindful travel and in time for what really matters.

Extras on request

A picnic set with handcart or a treasure hunt for kids & teens – just send us a quick WhatsApp.

Own an empty building in Repperndorf or Kitzingen?

An old barn, an empty house, an unused stable – and the idea of turning it into a home or a holiday apartment? That’s exactly what we did here on the farmstead. Mark advises as an estate agent and project developer, from the first assessment to the concept. Just get in touch.

Our wish is simple: that you feel as welcome here as we felt when we arrived in Repperndorf.

We are Stefanie & Mark Kraus. Together with our daughter Ellis and our dog Maya we live on the farmstead in Repperndorf ourselves – with a barn, a garden, a view and a village community that welcomed us with open arms.

And don’t worry: our self-appointed “site warden” Ellis will happily show you the way to the farm shop.
